Pokhara, 17 September – MAW Vriddhi Autocorp Pvt. Ltd. is all set to launch the all-new NEVO Q05 in Pokhara this Friday, followed by a 4-day Test Drive Event. Customers will have the opportunity to experience the NEVO Q05 firsthand through exclusive test drives from Ashoj 3 to 6 at the Deepal Pokhara Showroom, Chauthe.

As part of Changan’s new-energy vehicle portfolio, with Deepal representing its stylish, technologically advanced premium EV offering in Nepal, the NEVO Q05 is set to further elevate the electric SUV experience. Positioned as China’s No. 1 SUV in its segment since last 5 Months, the Q05 promises an “A Class Above” experience in comfort, design and technology, bringing together advanced EV innovation, contemporary styling and intelligent mobility for Nepalese customers.

The new Nevo Q05 combines city-friendly exterior dimensions with a spacious and practical cabin. Its 2,735 mm wheelbase is designed to provide generous passenger space, particularly for those travelling in the rear seats. Reclining rear seats will further enhance passenger comfort, while a 540-litre standard boot will provide ample room for luggage, shopping and family travel.

Design is another key strength of the Q05. The vehicle was developed within Changan’s global design network, which comprises 915 professionals from 31 countries and regions. The team is led by Changan Global Design Vice-President and former Volkswagen Group design chief Klaus Zyciora.

The new Q05 features a clean aerodynamic profile, distinctive lighting signatures and a wide, confident road presence. Its design has already received international recognition through a Golden A’ Design Award.

The electric SUV will be equipped with a 51.9 kWh CATL lithium-iron-phosphate battery integrated with Changan’s Golden Shield 2.0 battery-system technology. It will support 3C fast charging, with peak DC charging capability listed at up to 162 kW.

The new Q05 will arrive in Nepal with strong international momentum. Changan Nevo announced that cumulative sales of the model had crossed 125,000+ units by August end 2026. It also reportedly led China’s compact SUV sales for four consecutive months.
