PCM College Concludes Vibrant Six-Day Sports Meet

Pokhara College of Management (PCM) successfully concluded its annual sports meet, showcasing the athletic prowess and competitive spirit of its students across all semesters.

The week-long event, meticulously organized by sixth-semester BBA and BCIS students, featured a diverse range of sporting competitions.

The tournament included popular sports such as futsal, basketball, badminton, and table tennis, along with entertaining events like the spoon race. Students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

In basketball, the BBA sixth-semester morning boys team emerged victorious, clinching both the championship title and the coveted running shield. The BBA seventh-semester team secured the first runner-up position in the boys category, while seventh semester girls dominated the girls basketball tournament.

The futsal competition was won by BCIS fifth-semester students in the boys category, with BBA sixth-semester day section students claiming the runner-up position. In the girls futsal category, BBA seventh-semester students secured the championship. Nirvaya Ligal from BCIS fifth semester demonstrated exceptional talent to win the boys singles table tennis competition.

The sports meet concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony, where Principal Leena Negi Shrestha and BBA Coordinator Hari Adhikari presented awards to the winning teams and individuals. The ceremony created an electrifying atmosphere, celebrating the achievements of the participants and fostering a sense of community among students.

The event not only promoted physical fitness and competitive spirit but also demonstrated the organizational capabilities of PCM’s senior students, making it a memorable celebration of sports and student leadership.
