Prativa School Wins Inter-School Boys’ T20 Cricket Championship

Pokhara । Prativa Secondary School has won the title of the Expert Education Inter-School Boys’ T20 Cricket Championship held in Pokhara.

In the final match held on Sunday at Eden Heaven Cricket Ground in Lekhnath, Pokhara, Prativa Secondary School of Nadipur, Pokhara-3, defeated Srijana Secondary School by 8 wickets to claim the championship.

After winning the toss, Prativa chose to field first. Batting first, Srijana was bowled out for just 60 runs in 14.4 overs. Srijana’s batters struggled helplessly against Prativa’s bowlers.

Except for Abhay Bik, none of the Srijana batters were able to handle the pressure from the start. Abhay Bik was the only one to put up some resistance, scoring 18 runs, while the rest failed to make any notable contributions.

Prativa’s bowlers dismantled Srijana’s batting order. Saroj Poudel took 4 wickets and Remit Sharma took 3 wickets for Prativa.

Chasing the modest target of 61 runs, Prativa reached the target in just 5.1 overs, losing only 2 wickets. Succes Shrestha led the chase with an unbeaten 39 runs, ensuring an easy victory for his team.

The tournament was organized by the Pokhara Metropolitan Cricket Association and featured participation from 12 schools within Pokhara.
