The historic Shree Gandaki 100-Kundiya Gayatri Kotihom Virat Gyan Mahayagya – 2082 is going to be held in Birauta, Ward No. 17, Pokhara.

On Sunday, during a press conference in Pokhara, the Manav Sewa Foundation, Nepal announced the organization of the Mahayagya. The Kotihom program, which began with the Sankalpa Sava on Sunday, will continue until the 26th of Jestha.

In the same context, Guru Vijay Krishna Murti Maharaj, stating that all the necessary arrangements for the Mahayagya were made without any shortcomings, urged participants to provide suggestions if any mistakes were made.

The Sankalpa Sava for the Mahayagya has also been held. During the Sankalp Sabha, the founder of the Mahayagya, Balayogeshwar Vijay Shri Krishna Murti Ji Maharaj, shared information about the various events that will take place throughout the Mahayagya.

He highlighted the historical significance of the Shree Gandaki Kotihom Mahayagya for the Gandaki region, its religious importance, the significance of the Yagya, Havan and the objectives of the Kotihom Mahayagya.

The funds collected from the Kotihom Mahayagya will be used to manage expenses, and the remaining funds will be used for the development of the Harihar Temple, Muktishwar Temple, and Kailashdham Temple in Ward No. 17, Pokhara.

The Mahayagya, which was supposed to be held last month at Barahi Ghat, could not take place due to opposition from the Pokhara Metropolitan City, and a confrontation occurred during the Bhumi Poojan ceremony.

After resolving the dispute and changing the location of the Mahayagya, a peaceful environment for its conduct has been created. The Pokhara Metropolitan City has also granted approval and consent for the Mahayagya.
