The PCM Students Club recently organized a spirited debate competition that highlighted the intellectual prowess and public speaking abilities of its participants.
The event, presided over by PCM Student Club President Samrat Gurung, featured Vikrant Kunwar as the program speaker.
A distinguished panel of judges, comprising Saroj Kunwar, Manoj Shrestha, and Raj Kiran Chhatkuli, evaluated the participants’ performances.
After intense rounds of debate, Sandip Acharya emerged victorious, securing the first position. Jharana Buddha Magar and Shripal Lamichhane demonstrated exceptional debating skills to claim the second and third positions, respectively.
The competition concluded with a prize distribution ceremony led by BBA Coordinator Hari Adhikari, who presented awards to the top performers and as well as to all participants for their enthusiasm and contribution to the event’s success.
The debate competition exemplified PCM’s commitment to fostering critical thinking, public speaking, and leadership skills among its students through extracurricular activities.
Such events provide valuable platforms for students to develop their communication abilities and confidence, essential qualities for their future professional endeavors.
