Nepal has secured a victory in the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) U-20 Volleyball Championship.
In the match held in Colombo of Sri Lanka on Tuesday, Nepal defeated the Maldives by 3-0 in straight sets.
Nepal trashed Maldives by 25-5 in the first set, by 25-12 in the second and by 25-20 in the third set.
With this victory, Nepal has added 6 points in three matches. Earlier in the first match, Nepal defeated Sri Lanka by 3-0 in straight sets. Nepal, however, conceded a defeat to Uzbekistan in a 3-1 set.
Defeated in all three matches, the Maldives is left without any points.
The top two teams will be vying in the final match after the league stage matches in the competition with six different teams participating are over.
Nepal is scheduled to play against Kyrgyzstan on October 10.
