ISMT College, located in Naya Gaun-15, of Pokhara, recently organized an entertaining Dashain Festival for its students.
The event, dubbed “ISMT Dashain Fest,” was held to celebrate Dashain, one of Nepal’s most significant festivals, and provide entertainment for the student body.
The festival featured a special performance by The Jukebox Band, along with various student performance. The college curated the event around themes of food, music, drinks, and dance.
Starting at 4 PM on Wednesday, the festivities took place within the college premises, where students thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Toran Bahadur Baniya, Chairperson of Ward No. 15, Pokhara Metropolitan City, emphasized the importance of entertainment alongside academics.
He expressed gratitude towards the college for not only providing contemporary education but also creating opportunities for students to obtain degrees from UK universities. Baniya noted that the college has become a landmark institution in the ward.
According to Shiva Poudel, Operations Manager of ISMT College Pokhara, the event also served as an occasion for the college administration, faculty, students, and staff to exchange festive greetings.
ISMT College Pokhara is affiliated with the renowned University of Sunderland in the UK. The ISMT Group operates colleges in different cities of Nepal, including Kathmandu, Chitwan, Biratnagar, and Butwal, in addition to Pokhara. The college has been experiencing growing popularity among students.
