Kathmandu: Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Ram Nath Adhikari, has instructed the ministry officials to collect details of agricultural losses due to recent monsoon-induced disasters and to come up with additional strategies to address the situation.
During an emergency meeting held today at the Ministry, the Minister demanded the prompt collection of the details of losses in the agricultural sector.
He said the agricultural sector is reportedly marred by significant impacts and the situation should be addressed. The meeting agreed to follow the Minister’s direction, it is said.
